I’m no believer, no practicing Jew, but I wanted to understand what it was that connected me to all these people I didn’t know. Perhaps, I wanted to photograph some memories, but I also wanted to better understand the very meaning of these roots, the richness and ambiguity of this dual cultural heritage of mine.
