→ Richard McGuire – My Things
My Things was originally published by the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in 2018, concurrent with Richard McGuire’s exhibition « The Way There and Back ». Now printed on Risograph and published by Fotokino in November 2021. In the ten pages of My Things, McGuire examines the everyday gestures and interaction with the objects that surround us and the precise ballet they create each day, which give rhythm and structure to our lives. Through this attention to our most immediate environment, Listen (the book published by Fotokino for the exhibition « Sound & Vision ») seems to nourish a filiation with My Things. In this new work, McGuire reaches out and stages a narrative made of sound.
